Royal Ascot

Ascot Racecourse, Berkshire

Royal Ascot is the centre of the Ascot year and dates back to 1711 when it was founded by Queen Anne. This five day social event, with its spectacle of fashion and style is back this summer and set to be the biggest event yet. It attracts the world’s finest racehorses with the prize money standing at £6.58million. The race includes eighteen group races, eight of them in group one. Previous Royal Ascot winners include Black Caviar, Frankel and Yeats.

Every year HM Elizabeth II and other members of the Royal Family including The Prince of Wales attend the event, arriving each day in a horse-drawn carriage. A notable event was in 2011 when the Queen watched her own horse, Estimate, triumph in the Gold Cup.

To experience such a prestigious event is something truly special.
Royal Ascot… like nowhere else.
