Yes, the policy provides pet cover for owners who reside in the UK.

We need some details about you and the pet you wish to insure together with either bank account or debit/credit card details for payment of the premium.

We only accept direct debit payments, you can pay for your insurance by monthly or annual direct debit.

No, sorry – the policy does not cover pets that are used for guarding.

Yes, the policy does cover working dogs provided that they are not used for breeding, racing, guarding, personal protection or search and rescue.

Your pet must be 8 weeks old at the start date of cover. There is no max pet age to apply for this insurance.

Yes there is an excess you will need to pay in respect of each illness or injury for which you wish to claim each year. The amount is based upon the type of pet and their age at the time of treatment.

Cats

Under 8 years you must pay the first £85 of a veterinary fees claim for each condition arising per period of insurance.

Over 8 years at the date of treatment this increases to £95 plus 15% of the remaining cost of treatment per condition per period of insurance.

Dogs

Under 8 years you must pay the first £100 of a veterinary fees claim for each condition arising per period of insurance.

Over 8 years at the date of treatment this increases to £110 plus 15% of the remaining cost of treatment per condition per period of insurance.

Yes, the policy covers a crossbreed cat or dog, however the policy does not cover any dog that is crossed or mixed with any breed required to be registered under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 and/or the Dangerous Dogs (Northern Ireland) Order 1991 or the Dogs (Muzzling) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1991 or any amendments OR any breed of dog listed in the Excluded Breeds detailed within the “Policy Exceptions” section of the policy wording, which can be found on the Documentation page.
